Acura RDX Prototype to debut at NAIAS
At the 2018 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), the third generation Acura RDX prototype will make its world debut.
This prototype represents the most extensive redesign by Acura in more than a decade.
It also marks the first generation of Acura models inspired by "Precision Crafted Performance and the beginning of a new era.
The prototype has been designed and developed in North America and will be built on the new Acura-exclusive platform. It incorporates key design elements of the two most recent Acura concepts, the Acura Precision Concept and Acura Precision Cockpit.
The exterior of the RDX prototype takes inspiration from the Precision Concept as it adapts the low, wide and sleep presence with strong character lines running along the entire profile of the vehicle. The interior is inspired from the Precision Cockpit with all-new design, user interface and operating system.
